ND Shab Volleyball Tournament: Draw for the Golden Ball

Yesterday, within the framework of the sports event "Nad Shaba", a draw for the volleyball tournament was held, scheduled for the first day of the holy month of Ramadan. The event was organized under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the heir apparent of Dubai, replacing the chairman of the ministers and minister of sports under the leadership of Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, chairman of the Dubai Sports Council.

The results of the draw showed that in the first group there are the teams Za'abeel, Emperor, Al-Deaf, and Surprise, while in the second - Hoods Za'abeel, Al-Jawarih, Al-Hilal, and Al-Malik. The current champions Za'abeel (winners of the previous season) will face the team Emperor (holders of the bronze medals), followed by the match between Al-Deaf and Surprise. In turn, Al-Hilal begins the match of the second group against Al-Malik, while Hoods Za'abeel (vice-champions of the previous season) will meet with Al-Jawarih (who took fourth place last year).

The organizing committee announced the start of registration for players to participate in the competitions today, continuing until March 10. The rules allow each team to register a maximum of 14 players, with an open opportunity for players of all nationalities, which helps attract the strongest players from various national teams to enhance the level of competition.

The volleyball competitions will take place under a league system, whereby the two teams placing first and second in each group will advance to the playoffs, which will be held according to a knockout system to determine the winners, while the losing teams will play matches for the third and fourth places.

Registration continues for participation in all sports disciplines of "Nad Shaba", including 11 different types of sports, among which are Olympic disciplines and mainstream sports including volleyball, badminton, jiu-jitsu, fencing, wheelchair basketball, athletics, para sports, and also two new types of sports: badminton and archery with leisure running.
