Under the guidance of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, during the energy session organized by the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, continues to strengthen its position as one of the leading global initiatives in support of sustainability and clean energy.

The mentioned chairman of the Supreme Council of Energy in Dubai Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum emphasized that Dubai seeks to support all efforts, initiatives, and projects contributing to development and sustainability, as well as facilitating the global transition to a green economy and clean, renewable energy.

Supporting international cooperation for converting ideas into concrete projects, while promoting companies and individuals to adopt responsible practices that contribute to sustainable development and ensuring a better future for future generations.

With the approaching deadline for submissions for the fifth cycle of the award on March 1, 2025, the award continues to attract high-quality participants from 10 categories from various countries.

Supporting future visions, while encouraging innovation and rewarding promising projects that propose practical solutions for climate challenges.

Thanks to its ambitious initiatives, Dubai has become a world model in the field of clean energy, ecological sustainability, and green economy. Citing this statement, Sheikh underlined that the fifth cycle of the UAE Energy Award, under the slogan "Creating Carbon Neutrality," aligns with the goals of the United Arab Emirates to achieve climate neutrality by 2050.

Also taking into consideration Dubai's efforts directed at launching leading projects aimed at transforming the Emirate into a global center for clean energy within the frameworks of Dubai's clean energy strategy 2050 and Dubai's climate neutrality strategy by 2050.

The Sheikh stated that the award represents an important step in accelerating efforts toward the transition to clean and renewable energy, attracting experts and innovators from all over the world to exchange solutions and experiences.
