This Ramadan season, Global Village in Dubai is launching Multaqa Global Village, which is a free, open-air seating space designed to create a vibrant and immersive experience for visitors. The space will offer an engaging storytelling show, a selection of nostalgic games, and a warm ambiance with Ramadan-themed decorations like glowing crescents, shimmering lanterns, and sparkling lights.
Guests at Global Village will have the unique opportunity to bring their iftar and suhoor meals from the park's 250 plus dining options to enjoy a shared dining experience at Multaqa Global Village. The park will feature over 30 different cultural pavilions where visitors can explore a myriad of Ramadan-related shopping products, including decorations, household essentials, food, and beverages.
As part of the wider #RamadanInDubai campaign and in alignment with the 'Year of the Community', Global Village aims to celebrate togetherness and create a Home of Ramadan Wonders. The park's operating hours have been extended during Ramadan, opening from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM on weekdays and 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM on weekends to offer guests unforgettable Ramadan nights during Season 29.
Global Village continues its tradition of unveiling new experiences each Ramadan, enriching the essence of connection, reflection, and shared moments. This season, Multaqa Global Village introduces a concept that brings families and friends together in the spirit of Ramadan through shopping for handcrafted souvenirs, traditional bukhoors, Ramadan-themed clothing, decorations, household items, and delightful food and beverage offerings.
Moreover, Global Village presents the Ramadan Step Challenge, inviting guests to embark on an active journey while exploring the park's unique experiences and attractions. Through stunning Ramadan-themed decorations, diverse culinary delights, enriching activities, and live performances like the Arabesque Orchestra, guests can truly embrace the spirit of togetherness and celebration at Global Village during the Holy Month.
Additionally, the park features The Secret of the Lantern puppet show at the Kids' Theatre, aimed at teaching children values of kindness, generosity, and compassion in a fun and entertaining manner. Lanterns, crescents, sparkling lights, and a variety of dining options create a festive atmosphere where guests can enjoy the essence of Ramadan and create lasting memories with their loved ones.
