
The event "Hi Ramadan" returns in its third edition, offering new events and various activities inspired by the values of the holy month. Visitors can enjoy a unique Iftar and Suhoor experience at Wasl Plaza under the guidance of award-winning international chefs. The event also includes traditional, artistic, and leisure activities that reflect the values of Ramadan. The highlight will be the traditional gathering of the Muslim community, which serves as the official Iftar of the Dubai Emirates. Cooperation with the police and the Dubai Media Organization allows visitors of different nationalities to experience the atmosphere of Ramadan, and it is expected that the event will attract over 50,000 visitors this year. As stated by the creative director of the event and Expo 2020 Dubai, Amina Abulkhul: "The third event 'Hi Ramadan' is set to become one of the most beloved places for people of all nationalities to visit during Ramadan. This year, the organizers plan to hold new and diverse events suitable for both children and adults. “We are proud that for the first time, Iftar and Suhoor will be held at the iconic Wasl Plaza, and also for the first time, there will be musical performances of classical Arab music featuring the women’s ensemble Firdaus Orchestra,” added Abulkhul. The official Iftar of the Dubai Emirates will be held for the third time as part of the initiative 'Ramadan in Dubai', allowing to achieve significant engagement and interest from visitors, successfully achieving its goals of enlightenment and education. The events 'Hi Ramadan' promote the values of Ramadan, addressing all nations and ages, especially to the young generation, who will carry these values to future generations. The 'Hi Ramadan' events this year include traditional and folk events that have been very successful at previous events, including a platform for the Emirati heritage at Wasl Avenue, where visitors can immerse themselves in an interactive world of traditions and popular Emirati culinary traditions. Visitors will be able to trade in 'fulos', the currency of the events, at 'Bank Yue', and enjoy shopping at the traditional 'Dukkan Yue' and other shops on Wasl Avenue.
