Emirates Unveils Special Ramadan Services for Travelers

Emirates airline announced that during the sacred month of Ramadan, it will serve thousands of boxes with food for its lasting passengers both on board its aircraft and at the boarding gates, showcasing a broad spectrum of religious content and popular TV shows on the onboard entertainment system and offering traditional Ramadan dishes in the lounges.

In the Emirates lounges at Dubai Airport (DXB) during Ramadan, a selection of Arabic sweets, dates, and coffee will be offered. Ramadan boxes from Emirates will also be served in addition to the usual hot meal.

These boxes will be offered on flights for groups heading to Mecca and Medina for Umrah. The captain of the flight will also announce the time for Iftar when the sun sets.

During Ramadan, a balanced meal box with food for breaking the fast will be offered to passengers of all classes on selected flights worldwide. Also available on board will be the Holy Quran.

The company announced the special training of its personnel in Dubai and throughout the network for the setup of Ramadan. In addition, passengers can bring into DXB and some Saudi Arabian airports one bottle of holy water "Zamzam" with a volume of up to 5 liters per person.

On board, the aircraft will have access to special religious television and films, as well as traditional dishes in Ramadan boxes and in the first-class and business-class lounges. The lounges will also serve various Ramadan dishes.

To enhance the comfort of passengers in the Emirates lounges, at certain times during the break of the fast, complimentary snack boxes with refreshments, dates, bananas, and water will be distributed.

Emirates flight captains will use a special tool to track the time for the start and end of the fast in the flight plan, taking into account the plane's location, to ensure accuracy for their lasting Muslim passengers.

The company ensured special training for operational teams so they understand the cultural significance and nuances of Ramadan and were ready to provide a high level of service to passengers throughout their travels.
