The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai has introduced a new advanced platform based on artificial intelligence, designed to simplify the processes of obtaining residency visas. The new platform, named "Salama," allows the sponsors of residents to easily extend or cancel residency visas for their dependents.
According to GDRFA, it is specifically intended for "families of individuals who are not UAE nationals." Through Salama, users can also track the status updates of their visa applications and utilize a wide range of important government services.
"Digital transformation encapsulates a vision for the future, putting the user at the center of development," GDRFA stated in its announcement.
Users can log in, using their digital identifier on the website.
According to many, integrating such technologies significantly simplifies and accelerates the processes of issuing residency visas and obtaining government services.
