Brand Dubai has rolled out the second edition of the #RamadanInDubai campaign in line with the ‘Year of Community’ initiative announced by the UAE leadership. The campaign unites various public and private organizations to create a unique ambience throughout the city during the Holy Month.
The campaign, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, aims to emphasize the spirit of Ramadan and enhance community togetherness. Through a diverse lineup of events and initiatives, it seeks to showcase the true essence of the Holy Month with a focus on tradition, generosity, and cultural celebrations.
One of the highlights of this year’s campaign is the ‘Dubai’s Best Decorated Ramadan Homes’ competition organized in partnership with Ferjan Dubai. It also includes illuminating key mosques in the city with spectacular projection displays. The campaign involves collaboration with government, semi-government, and private entities in Dubai to promote a unified celebration of Ramadan.
Her Excellency Mona Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council, commended the partners for their contributions to the campaign. She emphasized the importance of media coverage in highlighting the diverse activities that make Ramadan in Dubai special.
Key partners in the campaign include prominent entities like the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, Dubai Police, Dubai Health Authority, Dubai Culture & Arts Authority, and Dubai Sports Council, among others. The collaboration aims to offer a comprehensive view of Dubai’s Ramadan celebrations to local and global audiences.
The #RamadanInDubai campaign features a rich array of activities catering to different age groups and interests. It includes special welcome stamps for visitors at Dubai's airport, a competition for the best decorated Ramadan homes, outdoor cultural events, sports initiatives, and charitable programs to support those in need.
The campaign aligns with Dubai’s commitment to tolerance, compassion, and coexistence while celebrating the city’s cultural heritage.
