Imperial Empire Wins Al Maktoum Classic in Dubai

The horse Imperial Empire, owned by Diva Racing and trained by Bhupal Simar, won the Al Maktoum Classic during Dubai's Super Saturday event. The race is a key preparation for the upcoming Dubai World Cup.

Tonight's "Super Saturday" within the frameworks of the "Dubai Shows Festival" featured competitions of the "Al Makhtoum Classic" in which the stallion "Imperial Impirio" maintained a victory under the supervision of trainer Bobby Simora. The competition was open to Arabian show horses in the "Group 2" class over a distance of 2000 meters on sand.

The "Super Saturday" tournament at the international hipodrome "Meydan" is the final test before the main event of the evening - the "Dubai World Cup", which is scheduled for April 5. During the "Al Makhtoum Classic" competition, "Imperial Impirio" under the guidance of jockey Taga Ushaikha achieved a confident victory, finishing at the cone of "Artorius" at a total length of 8.75.

The first stage of the evening was the third and concluding stage of the "Al Makhtoum Challenge" over 2000 meters on sand for horses in the "Group 1" class. The win in this race was taken by "Mbid" under the guidance of trainer Jaber Beitar. In the sprint "Jameyra 1000 Guineas" over 1600 meters on turf, the victory was claimed by the mare "Mountin Princess" under the guidance of trainer Charles Eppli and jockey William Byuk.

"Fort Bayn" from France, under the guidance of trainer Nikolay Kalori, beautifully finished first at "Berj Nahar" over 1600 meters on sand. "Nishens Praid" from "Goddelfin" proved its speed on the grassy track, winning "Sinsabil Stix" over 1800 meters with a minimum gap from second place. The win was also secured by "Silver Nout" from "Goddelfin" and jockey William Byuk in "Dubai Gold Cup" over 2410 meters on turf.
