Brand Dubai and Ferjan Dubai have partnered up to launch the 'Dubai’s Best Decorated Ramadan Homes' competition, aimed at encouraging households in Dubai to showcase their creativity by adorning their homes with festive decorations and lighting during the Holy Month. The competition offers generous prizes, with AED100,000 for the first-place winner, AED60,000 for second place, and AED40,000 for third place, motivating families to celebrate the spirit of Ramadan through beautiful decorations.
Participants are invited to incorporate the #RamadanInDubai logo into their decorations and create videos showcasing their creativity while reflecting the theme of the 'Year of the Community'. Entries are to be uploaded as an Instagram Reel on the contestant’s public Instagram account, tagged with @branddubai and @ferjan.dubai, and include the official hashtag #Dubai’s_Best_Decorated_Ramadan_Homes_2025. The deadline for submissions is 21 March. A judging panel will evaluate the most visually stunning and innovative decorations.
Aliya Al Shamlan, CEO of Ferjan Dubai, expressed that the competition serves as a great way to bring neighborhoods together during Ramadan, fostering a citywide celebration. Shaima Al Suwaidi, Director of Brand Dubai, highlighted Dubai's reliance on community creativity and festive celebrations in uniting people. Sarah Merdas from the #RamadanInDubai campaign team emphasized the initiative's celebration of creativity and community spirit that define Ramadan in Dubai.
The competition, in its second year under the #RamadanInDubai campaign, led by Brand Dubai in collaboration with various partners, aims to enrich Dubai's festive ambiance and cultural celebrations during Ramadan. To ensure fair representation and broad participation, winners will not be selected from the same neighborhood in Dubai. Apart from the top three prizes, seven participants will win Umrah trips for two, reinforcing community bonds and encouraging a sense of connection within society.
For Ferjan Dubai, known for fostering community-driven initiatives, the competition represents an opportunity to enhance neighborhood ties through creative expression. Decorating homes goes beyond aesthetics; it allows residents to showcase their identity and creativity, take pride in their environment, and contribute to a citywide atmosphere of joy. As 2025 is dedicated to the 'Year of the Community', the competition aligns with this theme by promoting cultural heritage, strengthening social connections, and ensuring the preservation of traditions in meaningful ways. By joining the competition, families not only add to Dubai's visual appeal but also create enduring memories that contribute to the strengthening of community bonds.
