The Hardware Championship League has approved the inclusion of chess tournaments in the list of competitions. The chairman of the committee, Salem bin Hader Al-Ketbi, noted: "We are pleased to present chess within the framework of battle for the title of Champion. This is an excellent opportunity for participants to demonstrate their intellectual abilities and strategic thinking."
