Record-Breaking Charity Auction in Dubai Raises AED 83 Million

At a charity auction held in Dubai, a rare number was sold for 35 million dirhams. Within the framework of the charity event Most Noble Number, the rare number DD 5 was exhibited at the auction, as well as several other unique numbers from the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA): DD 12 (12.8 million), DD 15 (9.2 million), DD 24 (6.3 million), and DD 77 (12.6 million). In the UAE, such rare numbers are used significantly more and are often sold for millions of dirhams.

In total, 83,677,000 dirhams were gathered at the auction. The proceeds will go to support the Fathers' Endowment campaign, aimed at improving healthcare for underprivileged community groups.
