UNESCO has announced the inclusion of the late Emirati poet Ahmed bin Salem in the list of celebrations for the Anniversary Dates Programme (2026–2027). According to the Ministry of Culture, this tribute coincides with the 50th anniversary of the poet's death. Bin Salem was one of the most prominent Nabati poets in the UAE, and this recognition honors his significant role in promoting cultural values that align with the principles of the international organization.
