The 1Billion Summit has announced a strategic partnership with global content creator MrBeast (James Stephen Donaldson) to launch the '1Billion acts of Kindness' campaign. The campaign aims to lead the largest global social movement initiated by content creators to promote a culture of meaningful and purpose-driven content, supported by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktum Global Initiatives and the Varkey Foundation.
The campaign kicked off yesterday, with MrBeast, who has over 873 million followers across social media and whose videos garner more than 62 billion views annually, challenging content creators worldwide to launch a billion impactful social actions in their communities. The goal is to transform individual actions into a global humanitarian movement.
Participation involves content creators submitting videos of their community-focused work and positive impact, ranging from local volunteering to supporting global issues. Submissions will be accepted until December 1, 2025.
Following a review of the entries, 10 global content creators will be selected to participate in the fourth 1Billion Summit, which will take place in Dubai from January 9-11, 2026, to lead a worldwide social movement.
The 2026 1Billion Summit will host MrBeast, where the participating creators and strategic partners of the campaign will be announced. The 10 selected creators will work with MrBeast and his team to implement impactful social projects. As part of the campaign, several videos will be produced on MrBeast's platform.
Humanitarian and charitable acts include volunteering to assist those in need (the elderly, people of determination, and the homeless), organizing community services, raising awareness about social issues and charities, conducting donation drives and tree-planting campaigns, and facilitating access to skills and knowledge through workshops and other humanitarian initiatives.
To participate, submissions must include the hashtags: #1BillionSummit #1BKindness. Entries will be reviewed by the 1Billion Summit, the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktum Global Initiatives, the Varkey Foundation, and the 'Beast Industries' team. Selection will be based on originality, narrative power, creativity, and positive impact.
Her Excellency Alya Al Humaidi, Deputy Chairman of the Media Office of the Government of the United Arab Emirates and Director of the 1Billion Summit, stated: 'Through this partnership and the launch of the campaign, the Summit aims to solidify a qualitative shift in harnessing the power of digital content for major humanitarian causes.
