Dubai Extends Deadline for ISEA 2026 Submissions

The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) has extended the deadline for the open call for the International Symposium on Electronic Art (ISEA 2026). This extension aims to provide all creators, practitioners, thought leaders, artists, researchers, content producers, and specialists in digital arts with the opportunity to participate in the international conference, which will be hosted in Dubai from April 10 to 19, under the theme «Yah: Arts that Connect Place, Data, and Identity».

Dubai Culture will continue to accept creative participation proposals, performance models, exhibitions, artworks, display screens, as well as research papers, presentations, and institutional proposals that align with the conference's theme and main tracks. These submissions will contribute to enriching the conference's special sessions, which include panel discussions, dialogical seminars, workshops, forums, and various events. A committee comprising a select group of experts, specialists, and art curators will review the applications, sort them, and identify the works qualified for participation based on a set of diverse artistic criteria.

Prospective participants are required to submit distinctive and innovative research and ideas inspired by the conference's theme and main tracks. All works must be original and documented in accordance with the state's laws and the conference's copyright agreement.

It is worth noting that the conference, organized by Dubai Culture in collaboration with Zayed University, will address four main themes: «Weaving Digital Constellations», «Dialogues Between Worlds», «Environmental-Tech Futures», and «Interconnected Worlds». It will feature a series of workshops, panel discussions, and dialogue sessions, in addition to a variety of creative performances. These events aim to provide artists, researchers, and specialists in digital arts with the opportunity to exchange ideas and insights, contributing to the establishment of a global agenda that fosters innovation in new methods of artistic expression.

December 15 is the final deadline for submissions.
