Dubai's Global Village offers residents and visitors diverse free experiences for all ages, including the World Gardens, which feature a brand-new area located between the Egypt and Iran pavilions. This picturesque zone is adorned with stunning botanical designs and models of famous landmarks from around the world. The space is designed to be an ideal spot for relaxing family picnics, adding a natural ambiance that complements the vibrant atmosphere of the Global Village.
Celebrating three decades of creativity and splendor, the Global Village has launched the '30 Seasons of Spectaculars' parade. This is a dazzling mix of colors, lights, and rhythm, featuring spectacular floats and performance troupes. The show runs throughout the season, touring the destination three days a week (Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays) after Maghrib prayer. On these days, the parade takes place twice daily. Performers from various continents present vibrant shows that tell authentic cultural stories through performance and music.
The famous Dragon Lake has also been upgraded; its giant screen, holding a Guinness World Record for the largest underwater screen in the world, now provides higher clarity and more detail for the different formations that adorn the lake. The famous Dragon stands in the center of the lake, serving as the axis for six stunning laser shows where visual and pyrotechnic effects harmonize to amaze guests with their beauty. The Lights Show is held in front of the main theater at the Global Village, combining modern lighting effects and music in a mesmerizing visual harmony supported by the lights surrounding the area.
In addition to the new events, guests can enjoy the classic fireworks shows at the Global Village, now held every Friday, Saturday, and also every Tuesday at 9 PM.
