The Dubai Science Club, affiliated with the Dubai Cultural and Scientific Forum, has launched the activities of its Winter Camp 2025. The event will take place from December 7th to 22nd, featuring a two-week program: the first week dedicated to male students and the second to female students. It aims to target 250 promising Emirati talents as part of a vision to establish a sustainable national scientific base.
The camp embodies the club's approach to developing students' practical scientific capabilities through an educational system that combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice. The program covers a wide range of vital fields, including electricity and electronics, artificial intelligence and data analytics, cybersecurity, robotics, 3D printing, general chemistry, sustainability, 'The Little World,' carpentry, and fine arts.
Bilal Badour, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cultural and Scientific Forum, emphasized the importance of investing in students' time to enhance their scientific skills. He stated:
«The scientific programs offered by the Dubai Science Club contribute to building early scientific awareness among students and directing their energies toward knowledge domains that support the nation's path of innovation and development».
Badour also stressed that providing advanced educational environments during vacations fosters students' attachment to science and gives them genuine opportunities to cultivate their passion.
Dr. Issa Bustaki, Chairman of the Dubai Science Club, explained that the camp represents one of the club's most important platforms for discovering Emirati scientific talents, adding:
«The club's vision centers on graduating a generation of scientists and engineers».
