The Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture & Heritage has announced the opening of registration for citizens, residents, and visitors of the United Arab Emirates for the 'Al Dhafra Major Kingfish Championship'. The competitions will be held from January to March 2026, and registration will remain open until January 3rd via the link https://aldafrakingfish.ae. These championships, organized by the Authority as part of its efforts to preserve marine heritage and enhance its presence in the community, feature three main stations comprising six competitions: three for men and three for women. A total of 135 prizes are allocated, with a combined value exceeding two million dirhams. The Authority has set aside 45 prizes per station, including 40 for the general category and five for the women's category.
