The Emirates Falconers' Club has launched a seasonal branch of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Falconry and Desert Awareness School as part of its participation in the Sheikh Zayed Festival. This is being implemented through a comprehensive educational platform that allows festival visitors to learn about its educational programs and enroll in them. This step aims to expand access to this authentic field of knowledge. The seasonal branch, whose activities will continue until March 22, offers a package of educational programs, including an introduction to falcons, their species, methods of care and training, as well as the principles of falconry in accordance with the principles of sustainability. The program also covers desert awareness, the etiquette of falconry, and the traditions of authentic Emirati hospitality within a system that combines theoretical knowledge and practical application. The launch of the seasonal branch at the Sheikh Zayed Festival is a strategic step to expand the circle of beneficiaries of educational programs and to provide the public with the opportunity to interact directly with them and enroll during the festival period. The pavilion of the Emirates Falconers' Club at the Sheikh Zayed Festival is witnessing a remarkable turnout from visitors of various nationalities, who learn about the club's initiatives and projects in preserving falconry and enhancing its values. The Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Falconry and Desert Awareness School, founded in 2016, is one of the leading specialized educational initiatives in teaching falconry and desert awareness. It has graduated over 6,696 students over nine educational seasons. The ninth season of 2024–2025 recorded a record number of 1,622 students, the highest in its history.
