UAE Writers' Union Participates in Cairo International Book Fair

The UAE Writers' and Authors' Union is participating in the 57th Cairo International Book Fair, currently being held at the Egypt International Exhibition Centre, with a special pavilion showcasing all its publications from 1986 to 2025. The total number of publications is 331, including 63 short story collections, 25 novels, and 83 poetry collections. The collection also features five children's books, two young adult books, 19 translated works, 10 biographical books, five publications in heritage and arts, four plays, and other books and journals issued by the union. Sheikha Al-Jabiri, Vice President of the Board of Directors representing the UAE Writers' and Authors' Union at the fair, stated: "The union's participation in the Cairo International Book Fair, one of the most important Arabic book fairs, is part of its efforts to introduce the UAE's cultural achievements, highlight the experiences of its writers and authors, and showcase the qualitative dynamism and continuous development in the UAE's cultural scene. This stems from our deep belief in the role of culture in building the human being, establishing the values of enlightenment and knowledge, and supporting literary and intellectual creativity."
