The Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation announced the winners of the first cycle of the Nuclear and Radiation Excellence Award, as part of the celebration of the Professional Day for Nuclear and Radiation Sector Workers in the state, in the presence of the Chairman of the Authority's Board of Directors, Abdullah Nasser Al-Suwaidi, and board members. The Authority launched the award in 2025 to be a national platform that honors individuals and institutions who have contributed to the development of nuclear energy and peaceful uses of radiation in the United Arab Emirates, in line with the Authority's regulatory role and its responsibility in establishing the highest standards of safety and security. The award aims to highlight leading models in the fields of safety, innovation, leadership, and impactful projects.
