Fujairah Dubai continues to foster creativity and initiative among children by organizing a new initiative, 'The Little Fujairah Trader,' in cooperation with the Dubai Municipality and the Department of Economy and Tourism in the Al Hewanee area. This event is part of the 'Ramadan in Dubai' campaign within the 'Al Walfa' season, aiming to provide children with a practical platform for sales and marketing experience in a supportive and motivating environment. The initiative is implemented in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktum, Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, which aim to support emerging talents and promote a culture of entrepreneurship among the youth. The event will feature about 30 diverse projects, including handmade products and creative works, aimed at developing children's skills and boosting their self-confidence. Furthermore, the initiative strengthens family and community bonds, as children participate in various activities within the Fujairah alongside their parents, reflecting the concept of good neighborliness and enhancing social cohesion. Aliya Al-Shamal, Head of Fujairah Dubai, stated: 'The Little Fujairah Trader initiative is part of our ongoing efforts to empower children and develop their entrepreneurial skills from an early age; we strive to create an educational and experimental environment that combines fun and learning, and encourages children to explore their ideas and turn them into real projects.' She added: 'The initiative also aims to actively involve families, ensuring that parents play a direct role in supporting their children during the sales and marketing experience.' Aliya Al-Shamal confirmed that the initiative is planned to be held in all Fujairah areas, ensuring its wider reach, with children from each district given priority to participate in their local Fujairah event.
