Launch of 'Inana': Reviving the Legacy of Queens

A new luxury fashion brand, 'Inana', has been launched under the direction of Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi. The brand aims to revive identity by drawing inspiration from the glorious past and living legacy of historical queens such as Zenobia, Balkis, Mawiyah, Shams, and Abiail. The collection is presented as 'contemporary royal garments,' harmoniously blending the softness of texture with the solidity of structure, a captivating presence, and fluidity of movement. The designs express the power of women and ancient heritage, with accessories inspired by coins, swords, and bows adding historical depth. The color palette ranges from traditional Arab colors like black, orange, and green to contemporary shades like silver, gold, and purple. The launch took place at Mleiha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, featuring a live fashion show and a multi-sensory experience. Concurrently, the brand unveiled its first jewelry collection, 'Abiail... The Covenant of the Desert,' offering a contemporary reinterpretation of traditional adornment. The brand is committed to sustainability, using natural materials and reviving ancient crafts like hand-block printing and embroidery. As Sheikha Bodour stated, 'Inana' is not about creating something new, but about rediscovering what has always been there, forgotten in the annals of time—a tribute to memory and a call for women to reclaim their power and sovereignty.
