Over the course of three days, from November 5 to 7, 2024, the Gulfood Manufacturing trade show will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This time, it promises to be a pivotal moment for the industry, as more than 2,500 participants from 70 countries are expected to gather here. The total exhibition space will amount to 1 million square feet, which is 30% larger than at previous exhibitions.
Gulfood Manufacturing continues to attract the attention of decision-makers, top managers, and operational directors from all sectors of the food production industry - from processing, packaging, and used ingredients to solutions for supply chain and automation control. Fresh ideas and breakthroughs, capable of enhancing efficiency, sustainability, and profitability, will be showcased at the exhibition.
This year, the themes will cover bio-enriched products, ingredients based on artificial intelligence, nanotechnology in packaging, precision brewing, and intelligent supply chains. They will help brands gain competitive advantages and stimulate industry growth. Trixie LohMirmand, the Senior Vice President of the Dubai World Trade Centre, noted: "As we mark the 10th edition of Gulfood Manufacturing, we are focusing our attention not only on significant growth and innovation in the food production sector during this time but also on forces such as Industry 5.0, shaping the future of food production and processing.
It is remarkable to see how Gulfood Manufacturing becomes the largest event in the world in the food production sector. We are pleased to be one of the long-term partners and supporters of the exhibition for the past 10 years. We strive to foster this dialogue, bridging leading industry representatives and stimulating the transformation of global food production."
This year, Gulfood Manufacturing will be held concurrently with GulfHost, which serves as an important platform for the hospitality sector. This strategic collaboration allows attendees to explore solutions for food production as well as for the hospitality business at one exhibition, offering a complete perspective on the food product creation chain and creating unique opportunities to explore synergy between food production and the hospitality sector.
At Gulfood Manufacturing, participants will be presented with over 2,500 leading brands in the food product and beverage production sector, of which 25% will be represented for the first time. 90% of the world's leading food production brands will be showcased at this exhibition. This has been possible thanks to the efforts of companies such as Danone, Kraft Heinz Company, McCain Foods, McDonald’s, Nestle, PepsiCo, Unilever, and others.
At the upcoming FoodTech Summit, more than 100 prominent thinkers and experts from various countries will discuss the latest trends, innovations, and challenges in the food production industry. On the first day of the conference, strategic futurist Dr. Mark van Reimen, an international authority in digital transformation and advanced technologies, will present a key report on how artificial intelligence is revolutionizing food processing, increasing automation, and enabling the use of digital twins for production optimization.
