
During the event "Forecasting the Future State Audit by 2024", which concluded in Dubai yesterday, the launch of the Academy of Financial Control was announced, which will focus on providing training programs for auditors in financial control and state institutions in Dubai. The objective is to enhance the knowledge and skills of learners, improving their professional activities in areas related to the work of the institution, as well as participation in lectures, master classes, enlightening activities, and roundtables discussing expected challenges and potential solutions.
The event, organized by the Financial Control under the slogan "Auditor of the Future", successfully contributed to strengthening dialogue and cooperation in the field of state audit. The organization's statement mentions that the event included discussions on the main international standards and practices in the field of audit, ways to enhance the level of knowledge transfer and the preparation of auditors in state institutions in conjunction with best practices, as well as the exchange of ideas and experiences through the vision and goals of the central institution for improving the state audit sector, and promoting better solutions that contribute to achieving transparency and accountability.
The event discussed important topics and aspects related to artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, effective management and control, as well as the role of each of them in achieving the economic program of Dubai "D33", as well as setting the course for the future of public audit and internal control, managing risks in conjunction with best international standards and global trends.
Abdelrahman Al-Harabi, General Director of Financial Control, noted: "The event successfully highlighted the most important practices in the world of state audit and skills that are essential for auditors to achieve higher quality in addressing future challenges and continuing economic progress in the Emirate of Dubai." He added that the new Academy is aimed at developing professional activities, with particular focus on providing training programs for institutions subject to financial control in areas related to their specializations, such as risk management, compliance, internal control, audit, and others, which enhance the effectiveness of employees both in the Financial Control and in other state institutions.
