The UAE Falcons Federation announced the launch of the Fazza Falcons Racing Cup set for January 12, 2025. The event, under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, aims to celebrate Sheikh Hamdan’s efforts in popularizing the sport of falconry and ensuring its bright future in the UAE and beyond.
Sheikh Ahmed praised Sheikh Hamdan's support, highlighting how it symbolizes the success of the UAE in promoting sporting activities that are deeply rooted in cultural heritage. The Fazza Falcons Racing Cup will focus on racing across different categories with substantial prize money of AED 2.8 million awaiting the winners.
The competition will be open to qualifiers from the Fazza Main Falconry Championship, ‘Al Telwah,’ organized by the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center. The top three winners from each category will be honored during the event, highlighting the dedication to expanding falconry's reach and ensuring its longevity in the region.
The event is seen as a valuable addition to the UAE Falcons Federation's calendar, showcasing the country’s dedication to fostering sports closely linked to its cultural identity.
