Today, in the port of Rashid 2, the first cruise of the gigantic liner "Resorts World One" of the international cruise company Resorts World Cruises started from Dubai. The liner is designed to accommodate 1,800 passengers and will operate regular routes three times a week to various destinations in the Persian Gulf.
Saudi Harib al-Mekhairi, responsible for tourism in the marine sector, and the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism congratulated Resorts World Cruises on the successful launch of new services and Dubai's selection as the main port of call for its cruises.
The company announced that the liner has already received official accreditation from the Islamic Cooperation Organization and the Standards and Measurement Institute for Islamic countries. It offers a variety of halal dishes and entertainment for guests from the Persian Gulf countries and other regions.
Michael Yoo, general director of Resorts World Cruises, expressed gratitude to the governments, local and regional authorities, as well as partners in the tourism industry for their ongoing support. He stated that the company aims to offer unique marine cruises in the Persian Gulf and eagerly anticipates the launch of the first cruise with special celebratory events onboard in honor of Divali, which will be held throughout the week.
Guests will be offered special packages during the November marine cruises, including a three-day cruise in Oman and a weekend cruise in Muscat. Additionally, every Friday a two-day cruise will start on Saïr Bani Yas Island. Every Wednesday begins a two-day cruise in Dhofar, and every weekend — a three-day cruise in Muscat and Khasab.
Michael Yoo underscored that the opening of services by Resorts World Cruises is an important step for Dubai, which aims to become a world leader in business and leisure tourism, as well as to strengthen its position as a leading marine resort in the region.
