
During the meeting, the achievements of the Dubai Media Council in implementing initiatives aimed at creating opportunities for young Emirati citizens in the media sector were highly evaluated. Sheikh Ahmed witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Dubai Media Council and the Council for Competitiveness of Emirati Talents, with the goal of collaborating to ensure employment for Emirati media specialists in the private sector.
The head of the Council for Competitiveness of Emirati Talents, Ghannam Al Mazrouei, expressed gratitude to Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for his invaluable support for the Emiratization efforts in the media sector, aligned with the leadership’s vision for the comprehensive empowerment of Emiratis. The significance of developing the competencies of Emirati citizens and strengthening the role of the private sector in ensuring sustainable growth across various sectors was noted.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, during a meeting with the leaders of the partners of the initiative "Emirati Talents Media Industry Association," noted that developing opportunities for Emirati talents and increasing their contribution to shaping the media landscape of the country is a national obligation, requiring joint efforts. According to the agreement, the two organizations will also work together to conduct seminars to achieve the objectives of cooperation.
The "Emirati Talents Media Industry Association" initiative continues to expand its reach, attracting new participants, including Al Mashhad TV, Yango, and the UN Network, with over 30 organizations now supporting the goals of this initiative. Its importance lies in training prospective media specialists nationally in partnership with the private sector and expanding their opportunities in the media field.
