Burjeel Holding participates in the World Economic Forum in Davos, where it presented initiatives on the unification of measures to combat climate change and the provision of advanced medical services, focusing on the development of innovative solutions in the field of oncology. Under the chairmanship of Dr. Shamshir Vayal, founder and chairman of Burjeel Holding, the key challenges in healthcare were discussed during a high-level roundtable titled "Investing in Healthcare: A Recipe for Resilience in the Face of Climate Change?" Participants also considered the possibilities of transformation for the development and financing of innovative healthcare solutions, reflecting on how collaborative and targeted investments can contribute to the establishment of a flexible preventive approach that strengthens global health under changing climatic conditions.

Dr. Shamshir emphasized that early investments in health, resilient to climate change, can require significant resources, but the long-term benefits play a key role in safeguarding global health. Special attention was given to the "Burjeel Center for Climate and Health" initiative, aimed at providing comprehensive solutions for responding to climate change through the integration of climate consultancies and preventive strategies directly into clinical practice. The working document "Health in a Changing Climate: Investing in Adaptive Solutions" highlighted the role of the Center in ensuring prolonged monitoring of climatic factors, such as air pollution and increased temperatures.

One of the key themes discussed was the necessity of supporting developing economies in effectively utilizing limited resources for the creation of clinics and hospitals. Experts explored strategies for expanding successful local solutions, particularly in developing markets, with the goal of ensuring global equitable oncology therapy. Participants included various distinguished individuals and representatives from different organizations, such as Italy’s Minister of Health Orazio Schillaci, Nick Studer from Oliver Wyman, Allan Danziger from the Wellcome Foundation, Audrey Duvall from Sanofi, and many others.
