Significant Knowledge Gap in Employee Cybersecurity Found

A recent survey by Kaspersky in the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa, titled 'Cybersecurity in the Workplace: Employee Behaviors and Knowledge,' revealed a significant knowledge gap. The results indicate that most cyberattacks are due to human errors by employees. This highlights the urgent need for clear guidelines from IT departments and confirms that organizations are required to provide practical and structured training in security. 45.5% of survey participants faced fraudulent activities. Meanwhile, 60% of them preferred 'cybersecurity' over other alternatives. In the UAE, only 48% of employees have received training on digital threats.
