The Mohammed bin Rashid Global Initiatives announced that its national program for the early detection and treatment of eye diseases in the UAE recorded a significant increase in treatment rates by 156%, equivalent to 554 patients, during the period from 2024 to 2025. The program also saw a 47% increase in free screenings and early detection, with a special focus on workers. The organization explained that these results came from expanding partnerships with relevant parties and enhancing the role of volunteers, individuals, and institutions. Voluntary contributions increased by 61% compared to last year, in line with the goals of the 'Year of Community 2025'.
