Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) supports the 20th annual campaign to raise awareness about autism as a sustainability partner. The campaign is organized by the Dubai Autism Center, which focuses on raising community awareness about the importance of creating inclusive environments for people with autism in public spaces. The campaign aims to go beyond the concept of 'formal accessibility' to achieve a real adaptation of environments that suit the needs of each individual with autism. Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, said: 'In line with Dubai's vision to be a friendly city for people of determination and the goals of Dubai's social agenda (33), we are committed to supporting and empowering people of determination by providing an inclusive and sustainable environment that ensures their active participation in society'.
