Dubai Health revealed a strategic partnership between Al Jalila Children’s Hospital and Children’s National Hospital from Washington, D.C., with the aim of revolutionizing pediatric healthcare. This agreement solidifies Dubai's status as a global leader in healthcare, medical education, and scientific research. Following reciprocal visits, Mohammed Al Awadhi, the Deputy CEO of Al Jalila Children’s Hospital and Latifa Hospital, emphasized, "The strengthening of our partnership with Children’s National Hospital will further elevate the standard of care for children in Dubai and beyond."

Children’s National Hospital provided crucial guidance in enhancing Al Jalila Children’s Hospital's health IT capabilities to ensure top-quality care for children. This partnership is expected to boost operational efficiency in pediatric subspecialties, thus ensuring optimal care for all children. Education and consulting services agreements have been signed, leading to specialized training for cardiac ICU nurses, significantly enhancing the clinical capabilities of Al Jalila Children’s Hospital.

Amer Sharif, CEO of Dubai Health, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to forge strong ties with renowned health and scientific institutions worldwide. The collaboration, which has spanned over eight years, has primarily focused on technology, specialized pediatric training, and elevating healthcare quality for children. Michelle Riley-Brown, President and CEO of Children's National Hospital, emphasized their commitment to advancing pediatric healthcare standards through innovative solutions and shared strategies.

The extended collaboration will now encompass areas such as advanced systems development, data management, and improved access to pediatric care utilizing innovations like remote patient monitoring. This partnership aligns with Dubai’s Social Agenda 33, aiming to build a healthcare ecosystem of global excellence.
