International Referee Badge Presented in Dubai

The UAE Football Association awarded the international referee badge for 2025 in a ceremony held in Dubai. Prominent officials attended, emphasizing confidence in UAE referees' success.


International Referee Badge Presented in Dubai

The Union of European Football Associations announced the list of international referees for the current year, which includes 6 field referees, 9 assistant referees, 4 video match officials, 3 referees for football in the halls, and 2 referees for beach soccer, in addition to 7 referees for video assistant technology.

The international badge was awarded to the international referees for the year 2025 in a ceremony held at the headquarters of the Football Association in Dubai, attended by the head of the referees committee Salam Ali Al-Shamsi, the deputy head of the referees committee in the international federation Hani Balan, and the director of refereeing management Fifa Masimo Busacca.

In a statement for Al-Shamsi, he emphasized the importance of Emirati referees and their successes in managing matches, saying: "We find great confidence in the Emirati referees who record numerous successes in managing matches."
