Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei met with Bahrain's Minister of Works to enhance cooperation in infrastructure, transportation, and climate action, focusing on best practices and shared priorities.


UAE and Bahrain Strengthen Infrastructure Ties

During the meeting, the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei held a meeting with the Minister of Labor of Bahrain Ibrahim bin Hasan Al Havadji, where they discussed issues of strengthening cooperation between the two countries in infrastructure, transport, and combating climate change.

At the meeting, which took place at the headquarters of the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MoEI) in Abu Dhabi, Al Mazrouei emphasized the importance of establishing strong ties between the UAE and Bahrain and expressed a strong desire from the UAE to strengthen cooperation with Bahrain at all levels in line with the directives of the country's leadership.

Al Mazrouei noted: "The meeting with the Minister of Labor of Bahrain was a valuable opportunity for further cooperation in the next stage. The visit is aimed at exchanging best practices of the MoEI in planning and constructing infrastructure projects, federal roads, as well as enhancing the efficiency of bureaucracy liquidation."

Hassan Mohamed Al Mansouri, the Deputy Secretary of Infrastructure and Transport at MoEI, welcomed the minister of Al Havadji at the MoEI headquarters in Dubai, noting that "such visits continue our long-term bilateral relations since we strive to share our experience with our colleagues from Bahrain".

At the meeting, the Bahraini minister was informed about the latest initiatives and projects of MoEI, protocols for managing activities and measures to ensure road safety. Al Mansouri emphasized: "Such meetings have key significance for identifying common priorities, exchanging best practices, and seeking opportunities for cooperation aimed at accelerating the achievement of our goals."
