Supreme Haynes: Dubai continues to establish global standards in the areas of social security, family support, infrastructure, and digital development. "The announcement of 2025 as the Year of Community is aimed at strengthening social solidarity and further enhancing the achievement of the Dubai Social Program 33," he stated. "This new set of initiatives reflects our firm commitment to creating an inclusive, sustainable, and future-ready society."

During the meeting of the Dubai Executive Council today, Supreme Haynes Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the current prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of the UAE, as well as Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, approved a series of initiatives to further strengthen social indicators, quality of life, and digitization across the emirate. He praised the announcement of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, that 2025 will be the Year of Community.

Haynes Sheikh Hamdan emphasized the role of digital transformation and sustainable development in the historical success of Dubai: "Under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Dubai represents a model for a united society, sustainable economy, developed infrastructure, and proactive individuals ready to seize every opportunity and potential."

Haynes added: "We call on all government agencies to support these initiatives. They will strengthen Dubai's global reputation, contribute to social welfare, and ensure sustainable progress."

At the meeting, Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, second deputy ruler of Dubai and deputy chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, was present.

One of the new approved initiatives is the Community Development Fund policy, which supports the Dubai Social Program 33 and backs various social initiatives. The system will provide a range of strategic projects, including a protocol to protect children's rights in Dubai, proactive child protection services, training programs for social workers, and legislative reforms to strengthen governance.

"The announcement of 2025 as the Year of Community is aimed at strengthening social solidarity. In line with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, the initiative seeks to reduce carbon emissions through the abolishment of carbon-emitting residential areas, improve quality of life by increasing green spaces, and promote social interaction through public recreation areas."

Another of the approved initiatives was the completion of the blockchain scheme, approved by the Dubai Executive Council, with plans to redesign multiple buildings in investment and public-use zones, including areas such as Al Nadah, Al Murakabati, Al Karama, and others.
