A new report on gender equality in the region of the Azure waterfront and the Near East indicates interesting results. According to this research, in this region, the highest number of women entrepreneurs resides in the UAE - 46 strong and energetic individuals. Following the UAE is Egypt with its 18 representatives, while Saudi Arabia ranks third with 9 women entrepreneurs.
One of the specialists from the UAE commented: "We are very pleased to see that women are increasingly engaging in business spheres and achieving success. This witnesses the gradual change of stereotypes and the expansion of opportunities for women in our society."
Moreover, the report also notes that overall there has been an increase in the number of women entrepreneurs in the region over the past few years. This is an important step towards achieving gender equality and creating a more just society, where every individual has equal opportunities for self-realization in business.
