This comes despite his promise to spend more time in his constituency, which he described as 'the greatest place on Earth', during his recent appearance at a parliamentary grilling. Sunak will write a weekly column in The Sunday Times' business section, starting from the end of this week, where he will cover topics including technology, politics, and the economy. His fee for the column will be donated to 'The Richmond Project', a charitable educational foundation he and his wife Akshata Murty set up this March. Earlier this year, Sunak joined Washington Speakers Bureau, a high-level speakers' agency that includes political and business figures. In May, he earned nearly £188,000 for just four hours of work, speaking at an event hosted by South Korean media company Chosun Media. He also received over £156,000 from California-based investment firm McKenna Capital. In addition, he earned around £160,000 for a three-hour speech for Boston-based company Bain Capital. The couple's net worth is estimated to be around £640 million. Earlier this month, it emerged that Sunak had taken on two additional advisory roles at Microsoft and AI company Anthropic. His Sunak's fee for the column will go to the 'Richmond' charitable educational foundation he and his wife founded. In July 2025, he joined Goldman Sachs as a senior advisor.
