Dr. Anwar Gargash, diplomatic advisor to the President of the State, stated in his keynote speech at the 'Abu Dhabi Strategic Meeting' that the latest agreement in Gaza marks the beginning of a new path towards governance and stability, not the end of the road. He indicated that the UAE, under the current circumstances, may not participate in the international force to maintain stability in the sector. This comes as Israel escalated its violations of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip on Monday and continued to delay in allowing a safe passage for 'Hamas' fighters to exit the tunnels in Rafah. Gargash also stated that extremist policies are a recipe for endless violence, affirming that the Palestinian people have suffered for a long time and deserve to live in a state with dignity and peace.
