In a new Emirati achievement, the CEO of the Emirates Library and Information Association, Sultan Al-Mazrouei, was elected Vice President of the Arab Federation for Libraries and Information during the 36th conference in the Qatari capital, Doha. Al-Mazrouei's election reflects the standing of the UAE in the fields of knowledge and future industries. Conference participants confirmed that the presence of an Emirati figure in the position enhances the country's role in leading sector development and contributes to transferring its expertise in digital transformation to Arab institutions. Sultan Al-Mazrouei said: "I am honored to have the confidence of the federation's members, and I consider this position a responsibility that drives me to exert more effort to serve the knowledge sector in the Arab world."
