The Dubai Women's Foundation organized a new meeting for the heads of women's committees in government and quasi-governmental entities in Dubai, members of the 'Tamkeen Plus' program. The meeting included a brainstorming session to exchange ideas on ways to enhance partnership between the Foundation and women's committees, contributing to the support of Dubai's government system, which places great importance on empowering women and helping them achieve a balance between their professional and social family responsibilities. Executive Director of the Dubai Women's Foundation, Naama Ahli, praised the participants, commending their active role in the departments and institutions where they work. She confirmed that the 'Tamkeen Plus' program, launched under the directives of Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktouom, President of the Dubai Women's Foundation, is one of the Foundation's unique leadership programs. It includes 22 leaders who head women's committees in government and quasi-governmental entities. The program aims to develop quality capacity-building programs in cooperation with local and international specialized institutions, as well as contribute to the development of supporting policies and legislation in coordination and cooperation with the relevant government entities of the Dubai Government. She added: 'At the Dubai Women's Foundation, we are keen to listen directly to the opinions of women leaders and benefit from their field experience to develop more impactful initiatives that better respond to the needs of working women, which enhances the quality of life and fosters a motivating and sustainable work environment'.
