Dubai's Digital Authority has announced the launch of the 'Artificial Intelligence (AI+)' program, which aims to train 50,000 employees in the Dubai government. This initiative is a joint effort with the Dubai Government Human Resources Department and the Dubai Center for AI Applications, supervised by the Dubai Future Foundation, as part of the emirate's efforts to enhance the readiness of its government workforce for future requirements and accelerate the adoption of AI in government operations.
The program aims to empower all Dubai government employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to adopt and utilize AI technologies in developing government services and institutional processes. This is achieved through specialized tracks for each professional category, contributing to increased productivity, improved performance efficiency, and fostering a culture of innovation-driven work.
As stated by Hamad Abdullah Al Mansoori, Director General of Dubai's Digital Authority: 'The launch of this program reflects our commitment to enabling government employees to be more effective in directing technology to serve humanity, based on data and knowledge.'
The program is designed to enable Dubai's government employees to leverage advanced technologies in the workplace, thereby boosting government sector productivity, enhancing an innovation culture, and supporting Dubai's ambitious economic and technological goals. This initiative represents a practical step towards achieving the goals of Dubai's D33 agenda and strengthening the emirate's position as a digital city where human capabilities and artificial intelligence work together to serve humanity.
