Receiving permission to leave does not entail a ban on entry. The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai confirmed that the permission to exit for violators of residency laws remains valid for 14 days from the date of issuance, even if the deadline has expired after the established deadline, which is designated on the following Thursday.
"Remaining violators" in the country are invited to make use of the remaining days during the established period of "grace." Leaving the country is considered the best option for violators, as they are unable to correct their status, since this exempts them from fines for violating residency laws and allows them the opportunity to return if they find job opportunities that match their skills and qualifications.
"Those who signed work contracts but did not complete the residency application procedures are also subject to mentioned regulations, as long as the designated period for completing these procedures expires."
"It should be noted that thousands of violators have used the established grace period, either correcting their status or leaving the country without any financial penalties." All wishing to rectify their status are recommended to visit the service centers "Amer" and the Center for Residency Violators in Al-Awir for those who plan to leave the country.
