
The Major Council of the Federation of Judo under the chairmanship of Makhameda ben Tkhallub al-Drai approved the final composition of the team for the upcoming championship under the guidance of Nasir al-Tami, a member of the National Olympic Committee, general secretary, and treasurer of the International Judo Federation. Along with trainer Viktor Siktorov, seven sportsmen were named: Narmand Bayan and Nadzhi Kazibek in the category up to 66 kg, Karim Abdel-Latif and others.
The judo team held a concluding training camp in Georgia, preparing to depart for Paris at the end of this January to participate in the "Paris Grand Slam" competitions organized by the French federation. The competitions will take place on February 1 and 2, while on January 31, there will be a draw via video conference.
