The event "Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Cup for Falconry" organized by the Falconry Management, started in the new building of the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center in the Al-Habab area of Dubai. This competition opens broad perspectives for traditional sports, especially falconry, both in terms of competition and issues of funding, which exceeds 23 million dirhams.
Two stakes will be issued, which will become the final of the season, with the participation of the best birds and falconers, competing for the most valuable prizes. These will be the Satka Cup for the sheikh categories and the public, each of which will provide the winning falconer with one million dirhams.
The event began in the spirit of traditional gatherings, filled with a sense of pride and joy among the participants. The hunters agreed that the name of the tournament, given in honor of His Highness the Ruler of Dubai, serves as a symbol of its elevation.
