
The organizers of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships have announced details of the 2025 tournament, which will take place from February 16 to March 1. The participation of two former champions Daniil Medvedev and Andrey Rublev has been confirmed.
Daniil Medvedev, a Russian star and the winner of 2023, is heading to Dubai after a tough season in which he did not win a single title for the first time since 2017. He ranks fifth in the world and has 20 titles in his career, including winning the US Open in 2021.
Andrey Rublev, also a Russian tennis player, currently ranked ninth in the world, won the tournament in Dubai in 2022. Last season, he won two tournaments – Madrid Open and Hong Kong Open, and in total secured 16 titles. He is 27 years old, and he is considered one of the strongest contenders for a successful appearance in Dubai.
The women's tournament will take place from February 16 to 23, while the men's will run from February 24 to March 1, at the Dubai Tennis Stadium, which has a capacity of 5000 spectators.
