
The following UIC-end will take place in the second round of the Khalifa bin Mohammed bin Zayed Championship in jiu-jitsu.
The tournament will be held at the Al-Nasr Sports Club in Dubai and is intended for participants in the "No-Gi" discipline (without a gi) from various clubs and academies in the country.
The announcement, published by the Jiu-Jitsu Federation on Monday, notes a high interest in participating in the event, evidenced by the increase in the number of registered participants on the championship website. The competitions cover categories for cadets, juniors, adults, and masters, starting from 10 years old and older, in an atmosphere filled with active involvement and life, reflecting the spirit of the competition and its ability to attract both beginners and experienced athletes.
The Deputy President of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, Mohamed Salem Al-Zahiri, emphasized that "the second version of the tournament is an important step in the development of talents at technical, physical, and mental levels, as well as in the formation of future champions." He noted that competitions in the discipline without a gi allow athletes to experiment with new tactics and innovative methods, which helps their ability to adapt to various challenges in combat.
