Dubai Bicycle Championship for Airplanes in its Seventh Edition

The seventh edition of the Dubai Bicycle Championship starts with the participation of a selected group of the world's best cyclists, including Bojack and Van Aert.

Starting from February 17 to 23, the cycling stage 'Tour OAE' takes place in velodrome, where well-known sportsmen from all over the world compete. Among the participants are four professionals who have already won titles or stood on the podiums of honors. Among them: Tadej Pogacar from UAE Team Emirates, Lennard Kamna from Team Lotto, Tim Merlier from Team Quick-Step, and Olav Kooij from Vismma Bike Team.

In the previous six stages of 'Tour OAE', the title of the winner has gone to five champions, including the two-time winner Tadej Pogacar from UAE Emirates. Primoz Roglic from Team Jumbo Visma became the winner of the first year, and now he is competing for the German Red Bull Team. The second stage in 2020 was won by Adam Yates from UAE Emirates. In the next two seasons, the title was retained by Tadej Pogacar. The last victory in 2024 was achieved by Lennard Kamna from Team Lotto.

Tadej Pogacar returns to the fight for the title after a break since 2022, where he became the world champion and won the title of the best cyclist for the fourth time. Defending champion Lennard Kamna is ready to fight for the championship as he already won in 2024, leading the general classification in the Tour Zhujunshan in China. Olav Kooij from Vismma Bike Team enters the fray after winning in the last stage of the 'Tour Oman'.

Tim Merlier from Team Quick-Step, who set a record in the last tour, becomes one of the main contenders for victory, having won three stages in one tour. He is ready for supremacy in the Tour 2025, after a dazzling performance in Oman and Saudi Arabia.
