Today, the national football team continued their training at the Al Jebel Ali stadium in Dubai in preparation for the match against the Iranian team, which will take place on Thursday in Teheran as part of the preliminary round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. It is known that the national team will fly to Teheran in the afternoon.

The coaching staff, under the guidance of Portuguese coach Paulo Bento, focused on game tactics, technical aspects, and players' readiness to determine the main lineup for the match depending on the physical and technical readiness of each player.

27 players participated in the training, who entered the new squad. It is expected that Bento will make changes to the main lineup, especially in the defense and attack lines, where Al-Wahda defender Lucas Bimenet could make his debut, as well as players from Sharjah, Luan Pereira and Kaio Lucas, based on their successful performance for their teams in the champions league.

The players trained in a positive atmosphere, showing high enthusiasm and seriousness, acknowledging the greater responsibility for the need to achieve a positive result. Special training sessions for goalkeepers were also held to assess their readiness.

At the moment, the national team occupies third place in Group A with 10 points, trailing leaders Iran by 16 points and second-place Uzbekistan by 13 points. The match will take place at 8 p.m. local time at the Azadi Stadium.
