UAE Cycling Coach Aims for Olympic Glory

International cycling coach, Canadian Richard Wills, expressed joy at participating with the national team at the Asian championship, which concluded last month in Thailand and Malaysia. In this competition, cyclists from the USA won five medals, stating that he currently aims to grow the base of national teams with talented cyclists, ready to contribute part of their lives for the USA's success at the Olympics in Los Angeles in 2028.

Wills stated: "I am happy to be part of the USA cycling team at the Asian road cycling championship; this is a valuable experience for me, allowing me to acquire new skills in the world of cycling, to develop a clearer vision of the team's players for our return to the Olympics and participation in the next edition (Los Angeles 2028)."

He added: "This is a challenging task that requires serious effort, and I believe I have enough time to find new cyclists and bring some of them to the Olympics 2028, whether on the road or track cycling. It undoubtedly requires greater sacrifices from the athletes, so I am looking for willing individuals to invest their time in being part of the team's retirement to the Olympics and taking on this challenging mission in their lives, which, undeniably, requires training and participation both within the country and beyond its borders, which is why we need to plan well and choose the time and place for participation."

Wills is one of the best cycling coaches in the world; he has already won more than 39 world medals and has also received the title of best coach in Canada several times in his career. He is committed to building a solid base and good planning for the national cycling teams of the USA.
