Former Liverpool player Jamie Carragher has called on manager Arne Slot to stop selecting Egyptian star Mohamed Salah if he continues his goal drought and neglects defensive duties. Carragher stated that if the team fails to score in attack and leaves itself exposed at the back, it means the tactical plan is not being used to its full potential, merely allowing Salah to stay at the top of the scoring charts. Despite being a starter in all 11 matches this season and usually playing the full 90 minutes, Salah has scored only 4 goals. Carragher suggested that either Salah should be involved in defensive tasks or he should be benched.
